In 1983 I graduated from the Ringling SchooI of Art, in Sarasota, Fl. I got married to Linda in 1997 and we had our first child, Aaron, in 2001. We had our second child, Jennifer, in 2003. I bike ride less since I started having kids. In 1989 I was run over by a teenage driver while bike riding. I was thrown 12 feet and received a compressed third thoracic vertebra and recovered. I don't boldly claim my right of way around cars like I used to. I bike ride defensively now. Rails-to-trials bike paths go real well with me also. When I worked at an ad agency in the mid to late 1990's, I worked on a lot of brochures for Thompson Publishing. I loved some of the book cover designs they used and I knew I would love to design book covers some day. In recent years, self-published authors have been coming to me to design their book covers for print and ePub. So the book cover design part of my business has been growing. I work at home. The parlor by the front entrance of my house is my design studio. I enjoy solving design problems for my customers.
